Day 1 & 2 Amboseli National park
An African Oasis rep will meet you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, introduce you to the guide and drive southwards towards the border with Tanzania to Amboseli national park, arriving in time for lunch.At the foot of Africa's highest mountain, 5895m Kilimanjaro, is one of Kenya's most popular parks. The snow capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above a saucer of clouds dominates every aspect of Amboseli. It supports a wide range of mammals (well over 50 of the larger species) and birds (over 400
species). Years ago, Amboseli was the locale around which such famous writers as Ernest Hemingway and Robert Ruark spun their stories of big game hunting in the wilds of Africa. It is also the home of the Maasai people, those tall, proud nomads whose legendary prowess in battle and single handed acts of bravery in fights with wild animals has spread across the globe. 2 Nights Tortilis Camp (FB)
Day 3 Tsavo West National Park
Early morning after breakfast depart Amboseli for Tsavo national park a 2.5 hour drive. Tsavo West National Park covers 9000 km2, approximately 30% of Kenya's area under parks, and contains a diversity of habitats, wildlife and a mountainous scenic landscape. The park's habitats include open plains alternating with Savannah bush and semi desert scrub, acacia
woodlands; rocky ridges and outcrops and more extensive ranges and isolated hills; belts of riverine vegetation; palm thickets and on the Chyulu hills, mountain forest. There are numerous rocky outcrops and ridges and part of the park, towards the Chyulu Hills, is of recent volcanic origin with lava flows and ash cones including the Shetani lava flow, an example of a
recent volacano. In the far south western corner on the Kenya Tanzania border is Lake Jipe, part of which is in the park. This very attractive lake is fed by runoff from Mt. Kilimanjaro and the North Pare mountains. At Mzima Springs, in the North of the park, water that has filtered underground from the Chyulu Hills gushes from below a lava ridge into a series of clear pools.
Day 2 activities include game drives; excursions to Mzima Springs, with its crystal clear water welling up from volcanic rocks and its hippos and crocodiles; The Rhino Sanctuary; Chaimu Lava Floor; Sheitani Lava; and Roaring Rocks, a volcanic hill formation with caves and rocks. 1 Night Finch Hatton’s (FB)
Day 4 Arusha
After breakfast, cross the Tanzania/Kenya boarder at Taveta. Arrive Arusha in time for lunch. Evening at leisure.
Day 5 Tarangire
After breakfast depart for Tarangire National Park arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon depart for game viewing in the park. Tarangire treetops by Elewana
Day 6 Ngorongoro / Lake Manyara
After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara stop for lunch on the escarpments of the Great Rift Valley. Afternoon descend the escarpments into the park for game viewing in the forest and shoreline. This park is famous for its tree climbing lions although you are also likely to see numerous buffaloes, elephants, leopards, rhinos and it has over 350 species of birds. Drive North to Ngorongoro conservation area arriving late evening. The Manor by Elewana
Day 8 Serengeti / Ngorongoro
After breakfast depart with picnic lunch boxes. Game viewing on the floor of the crater “one of the wonders of the world is impossible to give a fair Professor Bernard Gzimpk in his book “Serengeti shall not die” Drive to the Serengeti National park via Olduvai Gorge arriving at your lodge in late vening in this lovely place where animals know they have inherited the earth.

Day 9 Serengeti
Full day game viewing in the Serengeti translated in Masai language as “The endless plains”. 14,673 sq Km with millions of animals living in total freedom on limitless plains scattered with rocky out crops “kopjes” patches of acacia bush forest and occasional seasonal rivers. DAY 10 NAIROBI (OUTBOUND)
Morning flight to Nairobi Via Migori for your connecting flight back home. Transfer to your international flight.
