Our classic safari is the best for a complete Africa experience Best of Kenya wildlife adventure Day 1 ~ Arrive Nairobi – Kenya in the morning Arrive in Nairobi in the morning where you will be met and transferred to a luxurious hotel. In the afternoon you will start your exciting tour to the suburbs of Karen, where you will tour the house and farm of the famous author of “Out of Africa” Karen Blixen. Later visit the giraffe centre before returning to your hotel. The day's dinner will be at the world’s famous carnivore restaurant. Dinner, Bed, Breakfast) Day 2 ~ Nairobi- Amboseli National Park Today you begin your adventure by setting off on your safari. Your first night's stop will be at a lodge in the Amboseli National park, famous for its wild game and the spectacular back drop of the magnificent Mt Kilimanjaro,followed by afternoon game viewing. (Lunch, dinner, breakfast) Day 3 ~ Amboseli National Park Spend the whole day in Amboseli with two game drives, one in the morning and one in the early evening. With any luck, you’ll see the “Big 5”: lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner) Day 4 ~ Amboseli- Tree Hotel in Aberdare or Mt.Kenya National Parks Depart Amboseli in the morning for a tree hotel, arriving at the lodge late in the afternoon. Here you will have the unique opportunity to watch the animals come to drink at a watering hole and saltlick located below the lodge. (Lunch dinner breakfast) Day 5~ Tree hotel- Samburu Game Reserve Drive across the equator and through the old settlers town of Nanyuki. Continue northwards across the wheat highlands and down to the semi arid lowlands of Samburu arriving in Samburu on time for lunch. Afternoon game drive.(Lunch, dinner, breakfast) Day 6 ~ Samburu Game Reserve Spend a whole day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner) Day 7 ~ Samburu- Mt. Kenya Safari Club Drive back to the equator and the settler’s town of Nanyuki. You’ll arrive in time for lunch at the world-famous Mt. Kenya Safari Club.Located at the base of the beautiful Mt. Kenya, the resort was once a private hunting lodge and retreat owned by movie star William Holden! (Lunch, dinner, breakfast) Day 8 ~ Mt. Kenya Safari Club During this day you are at leisure to enjoy the clubs sports facilities,or you may choose to take an optional excursion to the Sweetwaters game reserve & chimpanzee sanctuary.(Breakfast, lunch, dinner) Day 9 ~ Mt. Kenya- Lake Nakuru Depart for Lake Nakuru in the morning, via Nyahururu stopping at the impressive Thompson’s falls, the highest waterfall in Kenya. Continue with your journey into the Great Rift Valley to the picturesque Lake Nakuru National park, home to thousands of beautiful pink flamingos, arriving at the lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the park. (lunch, dinner, breakfast) Day 10 ~ Lake Nakuru- Masai Mara Game Reserve The day begins with a drive across the Great Rift valley and the Loita plains into the world famous Masai Mara game reserve arriving in time for lunch.Masai Mara is an extension of the great Serengeti Plains, and is generally the most magnificent game viewing spot in all of Kenya.Here you will most likely see lions, giraffes, zebras, elephants, cheetahs, rhinos, leopards, hippos and other wildlife as they exist in their natural habitat.(lunch , dinner, Breakfast) Day 11 ~ Masai Mara The whole day will be spent in the park, with both morning and afternoon game drives ,while some time will be spent relaxing within the grounds of your lodge.(Breakfast, lunch, dinner)For enthusiasts of balloon safaris, the Masai Mara is the place to be.
Day 12 ~ Masai Mara- Nairobi Drive back to Nairobi where you will have time for some last minute shopping and a chance to relax at your hotel before your flight home. Breakfast & day room at a Nairobi hotel)
